Leviton's new line of occupancy and vacancy sensor combines state-of-the-art technology with new aesthetics to provide optimal management of lighting and motor loads and a choice of either manual-on (vacancy sensor) or automatic-on (occupancy sensor) switching. These energy-saving sensors are engineered to ensure that lights/motors will turn on manually or automatically and turn off automatically when motion is no longer detected within the covered range. Designed to fit in a standard wallbox, these devices offer 180 deg field of view and 900 sq-ft of coverage. Eaton Wiring Devices' stylish passive infrared wallbox sensor provides a convenient energy saving lighting control alternative for 120 V applications. The sensor includes light level sensing capability to further enhance the energy savings by preventing automatic control of the lights when the ambient light level is sufficient. This sensor is easily installed in any standard wallbox to control most lighting loads and is available in six colors. Occupancy/vacancy sensor switches use advanced Passive Infrared (PIR) technology to sense the movement of heat-emitting bodies. Occupancy sensors provide Auto-On/Auto-Off or Manual-On/Auto-Off operation while vacancy sensors provide Manual-On/Auto-Off operation only (CA Title 24 Compliant). The sensors automatically turn lights off after a space becomes vacant and a preset time delay elapses. Both versions provide 1-pole (single-location) and 3-way (multi-location) wiring and work with all lighting load types (INC, MLV, ELV, FLR, CFL, LED). A selectable and dimmable LED nightlight is provided. All sensors are compatible with any decorator-style or decorator screwless wallplate.
